About Us

Adapt for Life Center for ABA and Autism provides individualized Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to children ages 3 through 20, who are diagnosed with Autism or an intellectual and developmental disability. We employee fully-trained and certified Board Certified Behavior Analysts, Register Behavior Technicians as well as Master’s Level Behavior Clinicians. Our services are designed to positively change social and cognitive skills in individuals and provide a new kind of hope for them and their families.

Location and Hours

We proudly serve Clark and surrounding counties in Southern Indiana. Our Center is located at 607 North Shore Drive in Jeffersonville IN and we are open from 8:00am to 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.


Adapt for Life proudly accepts most private health insurances, private pay and DDRS Medicaid waivers. We provide full service care and will gladly work with your funding source for pre-authorization for services, re-authorization for services, billing and insurance submissions and denied claim corrections. We contact current insurance provider to complete all the initial paperwork, as well as work with the child’s treating physician.

What to Expect from Adapt for Life ABA Therapy

ABA therapy can be implemented in any environment such as the clinic, the home, at school and in the community.  At Adapt for Life, each child will have an Applied Behavior Analysis treatment package created by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). After the BCBA completes an extensive evaluation, the BCBA will create an individualized treatment that will best fit the needs of your child.  Your child will receive 1:1 therapy along with ongoing analysis of their progress to ensure the child is continuing to progress and succeed.

Behaviors that ABA therapy can help increase:

  • Language (i.e., requesting, tact/expressive, listening responder/receptive, following directions)

  • Gross/Fine Motor Skills
  • Visual/Perceptual Skills (e.g., puzzles, matching, sorting)
  • Activities of Daily Living (e.g., toileting, dressing, and brushing teeth)
  • Social and Independent Play Skills
  • Community Skills (e.g., crossing the street safely, grocery shopping and cooking)
  • Reading and Writing

Behaviors that ABA therapy can help decrease:

  • Any repetitive/stereotypic behaviors
